About Justyna
I am photographer from Poland, based between Warsaw and Tbilisi, Georgia. My works have been published internationally by the Wall Street Journal, National Geographic, Newsweek, Le Monde, Stern, The New York Times- among others. They won numerous awards: World Press Photo, Canon Female Photojournalist Prize, Caucasus Young Photographer Award by Magnum Foundation, Aftermath Project Grant and Eugene Smith Fund in 2016. ​Most important part of my work is devoted to personal, long term projects published as books. I teach photography workshops in person and on-line, both for groups and individuals. I am available for lectures on the topic I specialize in: different aspects of transformations and current geo-political dynamics in countries of Central Europe in particular Poland , Caucasus and Ukraine. I speak Polish , English , Ukrainian and Russian .
